Jumping into Style

Ready to take a leap?  Maybe a very large jump?  Because we are here to fill you in on one of the newest bridal trends, straight from New York Bridal Market...

The Bridal Jumpsuit

That's right.  You read correctly.  The world of fashion has combined one of our favorite 70's staples with the modern bridal runway.

Check out what little Pnina Tornai creation we stumbled upon at Market...

But, it turns out Ms. Tornai isn't the first one to pull this design off impeccably...

Here are a few more takes on the very fashion foward bridal jumpsuit...

So, what do you think?  Are you ready to jump into casual sophistication?
Or would you rather swim in your gown of satin and lace?

Something Blue

We know.  It's difficult to recover the use of your jaw after stumbling upon this jaw-dropper.  I had the same reaction when I first saw this to-die-for haute couture gown by Christian Dior, complete with a hand-painted petticoat.  This take on "something blue" is actually mind boggling and awe-inspiring at the same time- in a "why didn't I think of that?!" kind of way!  Now, while Dior is admittedly fabulous, this couture design will cost you a not-so-pretty penny.  Here's an alternative- buy a few bolts of fabric in a luscious hue of blue and have your seamstress line the inside skirt of your gown.  Can't you just see the pictures now?  Even better- when you bustle the skirt for your reception, you'll have a peek-a-boo blue that will stun your guests.
